It is possible to receive Australian free-to-air television via satellite. This is especially useful in regions where normal terrestrial reception is poor. The satellite system provides ABC and SBS from most states and timezones, several commercial channels, eg Seven Central & Imparja, and a variety of radio channels, including ABC National, ABC Regional Radio, TripleJ, ABC FM, as well as such radio channels as BBC World, and QTAB radio.
We also install normal terrestrial TV antennas for reception of the local television channels, and use quality high gain television antennas that work very well in poor reception areas.
